2GEDR - Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

2GEDR is a social connection platform for adults in the LGBTQ+ community. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect when you use 2GEDR, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information You Provide

When you create and use a 2GEDR account, you may provide information including:

Passwords created directly with 2GEDR are stored using password hashing rather than as readable plain-text passwords.

2. Age Requirement

2GEDR is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We request date-of-birth information to determine whether a person meets this requirement.

People under 18 are not permitted to create or use a 2GEDR account.

3. Information Used to Provide 2GEDR

We use information associated with your account as necessary to operate and maintain the service. This may include using information to:

4. Social Sign-In

2GEDR may allow users to sign in using supported third-party authentication services, such as Google or Apple.

When you choose a third-party sign-in option, the authentication provider may provide 2GEDR with information needed to authenticate or create your account, depending on the information you authorize and the provider's settings.

Your use of those services is also subject to the privacy practices of the applicable provider.

5. Location and Proximity Features

Some 2GEDR features may use location or proximity information when you choose to use features that depend on location.

Where device permission is required, your device operating system may ask you to grant permission before location information can be accessed.

You can manage device permissions through your device settings.

6. Information Other Users Can See

Information that you choose to place on your public or user-visible profile may be visible to other 2GEDR users.

This may include your profile information, profile images, and other information that you intentionally make available through the service.

Messages you send to another user are intended to be visible to the recipient of those messages.

7. Sharing of Information

2GEDR may use service providers where necessary to operate technical functions of the service, such as hosting, authentication, communications, security, or other infrastructure.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal processes, protect users, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, or protect the security and integrity of 2GEDR.

Information that you intentionally share with other users is disclosed according to the features you choose to use.

8. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No internet service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their account credentials and avoid sharing passwords or verification codes with other people.

9. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide 2GEDR and maintain your account.

When an account is deleted, information associated with that account will be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable legal, security, fraud prevention, and operational requirements.

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the security of 2GEDR and its users.

10. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their 2GEDR account and associated personal data.

2GEDR provides or will provide an account deletion option through the account experience and a web-based method for requesting account deletion.

If certain information must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes, that information may be retained only as necessary for those purposes.

For assistance with an account or data deletion request, contact: help@2gedr.com

11. Your Choices

Depending on the features you use and applicable law, you may be able to:

12. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

Our pre-launch website uses Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure website visits and advertising performance, including waitlist registration events.

When you choose to allow advertising analytics, Meta Pixel may receive information such as the page visited, browser and device information, IP address, and events associated with your visit or waitlist signup. Meta processes information it receives according to its own privacy practices.

Meta Pixel is optional on our pre-launch website and is loaded only after you select “Allow analytics” in the consent notice. Declining advertising analytics does not prevent you from joining the waitlist. Your agreement to receive launch emails is separate from your advertising analytics choice.

We do not intentionally send your waitlist email address, private messages, dating preferences, or sexual orientation to Meta through Pixel events. However, a visit to an LGBTQ+ social and dating service website may itself reveal sensitive interests. For information about Meta's practices, visit Meta's Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when 2GEDR features, data practices, or legal requirements change.

When this policy is updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will also be updated.
